Interior Design Graduate Studio II

Introduction to space planning strategies, design programming, interior architectural components, accessibility guidelines, and residential codes, as well as design process involving a small-scale residential project, with an emphasis on elements and principles of design, and issues of form, function, and ergonomics.

Objectives

  • To demonstrate the use of design processes to evaluate design problems and deliver creative design solutions for a small-scale residential project
  • Acquire basic critical thinking, analysis skills, and knowledge of codes and regulations
