Overview of the 2d and 3d design principles and elements, color theory, light and their application to interior design and the design process. Exploration of shape and the relationship to space, organization, and order; emphasis on volumetric thinking and the spatial envelope.
Objectives
- Employ all aspects of the design process to creatively solve a design problem.
- Apply elements and principles of design.
- Apply the principles and theories of light and color effectively in relation to environmental impact and human wellbeing.
