An introduction to space planning strategies, interior architectural components, accessibility guidelines, design programming, residential codes, and the design process as they relate to small scale residential projects.
Objectives
- Demonstrate the use of design processes to evaluate design problems and deliver creative design solutions as they relate to small-scale residential projects
- Apply knowledge of codes and regulations
- Understanding of working in a collaborative environment as well as comprehension of self-awareness, cultural awareness, diversity, and events.
