Introduction to advanced space planning, human factors, universal design, building codes as they relate to multi-family and small commercial projects including but are not restricted to retail, businesses, restaurants, coffee shops, and galleries up to 3,000 sf.

Objectives

• Understand issues of building design focused on interiors, and the building and building site
• Explore design elements and principles with an understanding of advanced space planning strategies, human needs, and activities as design determinants, design programming, design development
